We finally have news to share about the 2022 awards evening! TheFACTORY at Porth will open at 7pm Friday 2nd September. If you are yet to RSVP your interest in awards evening Click Here.
There will be an opportunity to visit the Art in the Attic galley on the top floor (there is a stair lift available). Due to the size of the gallery we may not all be able to occupy the gallery at once (this is dependent on numbers on the evening), however medium to large groups is absolutely fine.
There will also be a digital displaying of the images in the downstairs space as well as refreshments*, this is where you are welcome to congregate, view the projected images and mingle.
At 8pm the official Awards Ceremony will start to celebrate the category winners and event adult and child winners. The gallery will remain open until 9pm for further viewing.
*Refreshments will be on sale by theFACTORY and profits made will be used by theFACTORY to support their charities. They are an amazing local space that do many great things for the community, we can’t show them enough gratitude for the support they have shown for RCT Photo Marathon over the last couple of years. We will be donating 10% of the ticket sales revenue to Valleys Kids.

Parking at theFactory is limited. There are spaces available at the Plaza next door, Hannah Street as well as the Hannah Street car park. There is a large Morrisons car park near by, but please be aware of the time restrictions here. Getting to Porth from Pontypridd there is currently road closures at Eirw road / Pontypridd road please use Llwyncelyn road or approach using B4278 North road diversion routes to get to the gallery.

There will be plenty of opportunity to see the gallery if you miss the awards evening as we will be open from the 5th to the 15th. Feel free to come and visit us more than once and bring your friends, neighbours, family, colleagues etc.
